Dr. Najmeh Hoseini speaking at a conference podium

I'm a neuroscience educator and researcher, a physical therapist of more than twenty years, an artist, and a meditation facilitator — and I've taught the brain to doctoral physical therapy students since 2015. What makes my talks different is that bridge: I don't just tell an audience that art, movement, breath, or stillness “help.” I stand in front of them and show them why — what's happening in the brain and nervous system, and how to use it.

What I speak about

  • The neuroscience of art — why making and looking at art changes the brain, and what that means for creativity and healing.
  • The neuroscience of movement — how the body reshapes the brain, and why movement is medicine for the nervous system.
  • The neuroscience of breath — how the way we breathe reaches stress, focus, and calm.
  • The neuroscience of meditation — what actually changes in the brain, minus the mysticism.
  • Neuroplasticity & the mind–body connection — how the brain rewires, and what that means for stress, resilience, and healing.
  • Paint Your Nervous System — an experiential keynote that blends science with hands-on practice.

Why it's worth it for your event or team

Audiences leave with more than notes. My talks are built to lower stress and burnout, spark creativity and focus, and give people simple, science-backed tools they can actually use — delivered as engaging, embodied experiences rather than lectures. Talks can be a keynote, an interactive workshop, or a virtual session, and I speak in both English and Farsi.

Perfect for conferences, companies and teams, wellness and creative events, universities, and community or women's gatherings.

With more than two decades of experience in movement science, rehabilitation, teaching, research, and creative practice — including eleven years teaching neuroscience, nine years of deep meditation practice with published work, and a body of exhibited and collected art — Dr. Najmeh translates complex brain science into engaging, embodied experiences.
